The solid surface layer of Earth is the lithosphere. The Biosphere is now an Environmental Museum. I rode my Bixi rental bike over to this island from downtown--not a bad ride. There is a Bixi bike dock next to the Biosphere. Also close to the Biosphere is the Formula One Racetrack that they will let you ride your bicycle around when there is no car racing.
